I don’t usually write reviews mostly because I figure who cares what l have to say but I couldn’t let this one slide. First off I did read the description and was well away that this book dealt with the issues of consent but I also saw that it was labeled a romance. There isn’t a romance here. I don’t know how the MC didn’t kill himself to be honest and I don’t say that out of cruelty.This isn’t a happy book at any point including the end. If you’re looking for a dub-con book where the MCs fall in love look elsewhere.
This is a story about rape(I don’t care how “nice” they were about it) and being forced to have the child resulting from it.
To start we have Devlin who is completely happy in the life he had. He is about to present his thesis to the review board, he is living with a man he is in love with and has friends he feels free with. His brother, takes that all away from him.
He is forced to mate with the alphas, yes forced. He doesn’t want it. He isn’t a bottom at all. He doesn’t enjoy any of the sex and we get to read in detail just how awful it is. We get to know just how uncomfortable it is and how much he wishes he could stop it. It was horrific. It’s true the alphas want him to like it but his not enjoying it doesn’t stop them. Afterward Devlin behaves like a rape victim because let’s face it, he is, and can barely stand being touched in any way. The very idea of sex makes him lose it.
The whole book is like this. Sure the alphas bend over backwards to try to accommodate him later but they never quiet grow on Devlin(I wonder why) and we spend the whole book reading about Devlin trying to heal.
he even wishes to be sterile or to have an abortion but can’t. His mother and brother betrayed him and there isn’t really hope. Only half assed I’m sorry
the bottom line is even at the end of the book he doesn’t really want to be with the alphas. He doesn’t love them and he doesn’t want the children he is carrying. There isn’t a romance here just forced submission. Oh! But hey the alpha’s come to love him..sort of so it’s all going to alright. Right? I know some people enjoy dub-con when it gets sexy but this does not get sexy . Devlin longs for the man he was forced to leave and tries to make the best of being roped with the alphas.

Mpreg stories are not for everyone. Unfortunately, many authors of this genre tend to feminine the main character (aka Chicks with D****). Kudos to NJ Lysk for writing something that isn't cute but angsty and touch on the cold reality of a male losing his dreams and friends because of a whim of his brother/alpha for all omega's to procreate. So much so that his brother dictates who will mate with who with little regard or choice of the omega. Devin is the sole omega male of the pack and just weeks away from completing his doctorate. He has always rejected his role as an omega so bearing children goes against everything he believes in.
The unusual twist is the two alphas that are his only choices (he picks both) are so likable. While the deed is done (at the reluctant request of Devin), he spends the rest of the book making them feel like crap making them feel like they hurt him or less than consensual. For me, it was the relationship between Naveen and Rami (the two alphas) that carried the last half of the story. Devin sends too many mixed signals and plays the victim far too often to be likable.
If you like angsty mpreg stories, this one is worth checking out.

This is a newer author for me. I am however really enjoying the work. Characters are well connected and the storyline flows steady.
I really loved and enjoyed reading this so much it was wonderful. This book was so beautifully written I loved every minute of it. I loved the relationship between Rami, Naveen, and Devlin I loved that they could have a happy ending together. I loved the twists and turns in this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series I hope it is just as good or better than this book. I will recommend this book to everybody I know and to all my friends too.

These books do contain many forms of coercion, sexual and otherwise. The author also treats these issues with sensitivity and astonishing insight. There is no resolution, only adaptation to an inescapable situation. It is indeed horrifying but this examination of consequences adds immense value to the Omegaverse genre.
I just wish N.J. had an editor... These books are loaded with spelling and typing errors.
I have read the other reviews, and this is not a love story. This is what it says. The Mating habits of werewolves. If you read many werewolf romances you know male omegas can give birth. Alphas are very dominant
This book is about an unwilling omega and two younger alphas, who breed him at his pack dominants insistence. The dominant happens to be the omegas brother. Yes, we hate him. The two alphas turn out to be very caring and different. One says to the other, " tell me what you be said that made him cry, because I will literally slit my wrist if I make him cry." It's so endearing I cried. This is not a love story, yet. We are holding out hope for book two. This is a very good book and the characters rock. You will love it. Suzanne in Texas.
I thought this story was very good. There were some writing and grammatical errors which made the flow of the story difficult to understand. There were some inconsistencies with the characters which annoyed me. I could sympathize with Devlin but he was all over the place. First, he didn't want Rami and Neevan, then he did. He couldn't choose one of them so he choose both. Devlin doesn't want them to stay but then he doesn't want them to go. I couldn't keep up most of the time. I do think the writer left us hanging some. I was hoping to read about the end of Devlin's pregnancy and whether or not he finally accepted his two Alphas.
